SSP 400HP CLUTCH PACKAGE MITSUBISHI EVO X

The Pro Series Clutch Disc has 30-40% more gripping force over the stock clutch discs, due to an increased surface area. The disc itself is a complex compound of cotton, carbon fiber, synthetic organic fibers, and other materials. In fact, these new clutch discs are made out of the same material we use in our GTR 700whp clutch discs. These new materials add to the strength of the discs while still retaining the properties that allow it to hold up in the submerged oil environment of the TC-SST valve body.

This particular compound has been tested to hold 420-475 crank horse power and 410 foot pounds of torque at 200F. At these power levels the transmissions fluid temperature will determine the amount of clamping force the clutch discs are able to exert. To obtain and maintain this power level other considerations, such as the SSP oil cooler kit, should be entertained as well.
